TCD stands for Thin body, cutaway, Double P-90 pickups. Its fitted with 2 powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups which are nicely balanced and are warm and round with classic vintage Gibson P-90 tone. The one-piece mahagony-neck has a nice, med-size neck-profile but not chunky and the wide pre/-65 fretboard. The ES-125 TDC is a lightweight, lively sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. Only very minor playwear, mostly on the backside of the body, the original frets are still perfect. The TDC with 2-PU´s and sincle-cutaway is the most desirable version of the ES-125 line. Since the fingerboard sits flush to the body (as opposed to an ES-175) the ES-125 requires a shorter neck pickup than a typical dogear. The ES-125 also used a tapered dogear cover for their neck position pickups with a thickness of 4/16" on the treble side and 5/16" on the bass side. The model used for the ES-125 has a string spacing on the neck pickup of 1 Template:Fraction" from high E to low E.
